Zuck read the book "Ready Player One" and thought to himself he could create the Metaverse because he was so rich and people would flock to it like Facebook. Unfortunately, none of his Yes Men are telling him what a stupid idea it is and he keep doubling down on it. It won't ruin him financially because he has more money than god, but it might ruin Facebook (good riddance).
From the first time I got into a Telsa about 10 years ago, I knew this was all a giant scam. The car looked like it was 1980s level of fit and finish. I ask my friend who had just bought the car, this is what you get for $60k? My Volkwagen Golf had better fit and finish. I'll never buy a Telsa. The mainstream car companies are going to eat his lunch on the electrification of cars. I bet in 10 years Telsa isn't even a car company anymore. Most likely will be bought by Ford or GM. SpaceX got off to a good start but his pipe dream to go to Mars is exactly that. Where is his giant rocketship? Nowhere to be found.
I don't know what it is with the people. Musk, Bezos, Zuckerbot, etc etc that when the become billionaires they lose their minds and think they can rule the world. The rules don't apply to them. I hope they all fail miserably because if they get their way, we will all be living in their dystopian nightmare.
