You need to watch "Don't Look Up" about a meteor that is going to hit the earth. It came out last year I think. It's part comedy, part reality TV. It's basically what would happen if Trump was still in the White House and we had a meteor that would wipe out civilization and the bumbling tomfoolary that would happen.

I agree though, if they Trumpists get enough people installed in the right places there will be no accoutability.
