You know that you and me go back to the beginning of this escapade on our favorite writer. But she just shines a light on people that live in the virtual world with no consequences in the real world. It happens all over social media and the internet and is the cause of so many problems. I go under a pseudonym here because I write political stuff (when I have a chance, it's not much right now with a real life job). I was mainly concerned about my employer finding out about my writings and firing me. The same could be said of our favorite writer. She obviously wants to hide behind someone else's identity. People say it's freeing to be able to write without consequences. I agree to a point. To me this is a hobby, but when you start having real influence on events because of a large following, maybe you should expose yourself and go mainstream. All I can say is that Medium wouldn't be 1/2 as big as it is today if they didn't allow us to use fake names but clearly it has consequences.
