You have it all wrong. These two know they have no chance to be president but what’s the next best thing? Serving in Trump’s next administration. So if pence and Haley siphon off enough votes from DeSantis in the primaries then their buddy Trump will get the nomination again. They have no chance serving under DeSantis. I expect a couple more former trump acolytes to run to dilute the field enough to hand Trump victory again
