We all try to choose the best living arrangement possible for our stages in life. But in Europe there is no choice sometimes because of the lack of houses (vs apartments) having lived in a fairly large three bedroom apartment with my parents and two siblings and a big dog in Germany (we had no choice this was the housing the American embassy provided us) there is no way I could that again. I’m just saying most people would trade a bigger space and sacrifice some convenience.
