Unfortunately two things intersected after the pandemic. That was corporate greed and offshoring. Many companies that went on a spending spree during the low interest rate times and now need to cut spending to keep stock prices up. An easy way to do that is demand everyone back in the office. Many people can’t return to these offices and in many cases there is nowhere for them to go so they quit. A cheap way to downsize or move jobs to India. But mark my words as spending loosens up again the future the pendulum will swing back as workers demand more freedom
