Unfortunately, even this low bar is too high for many of the MAGA crowd. Then they complain that illegals are taking their jobs or that nobody wants to work at their shitty companies because they won't pay more than minimum wage.

I just went to a baseball game yesterday. Mariners vs. Yankees here in Seattle. Stadium was almost full. Tickets were actually one of the cheaper things. Parking was $40. Hotdog $16. Beer $15, and so on and so on... with about 40,000 people and you start to wonder where the recession is? It's not really affecting anyone I know. Granted the homeless population in Seattle is awful and people are losing their apartments daily to huge rent increases. So, I know people are suffering because the amount of homeless keeps going up not down. So, I know there are problems, but at the same time, my day to day is unaffected by this "inflation" as I am sure the core of the population of the USA is too.
