Two thoughts on this. Trump followers are like him in that they are lazy and uneducated about how things really work. Many would have to get off the couch, pick up a gun and travel some distance to fight against socialists probably hundreds of miles from where they live. Do you think they will really do that?

At the same time, I can see roving gangs of thugs (aka Brown Shirts) going into downtown areas creating chaos and mass violence while their MAGA leaders look the other way. We started to see that in Portland at the end of Trump's reign. I would look for more of that to happen if they seize control. Then it's just a short hop to Gilead...
