Trump is toast

You might’ve been in the same boat as me in 2016 when Trump rose to prominence in the Republican primary and then went on to win the presidency. How could so many Americans be so dumb? Did they know what he was going to do to this country? Four years later, we know what he did and we knew exactly who he was. It has been one of the darkest chapters in American history, but thankfully it will be over and Trump will become a side act soon enough.

Trump is a narcissist. We all know this (even some of his followers know this). He is impossible to break up with. Even those on the other side of his rhetoric are having a hard time putting him aside because of the amount of money and attention his stories bring. Same with me, I am still talking about him here and with family and friends. But, joyfully, it will come to an end soon.

Trump is in a lot of deep trouble when he leaves office on January 20th, 2021. He knows this. So, it’s not surprising that he tried everything his feeble little mind could think up to flip the election and try to overthrow the government. But, as with just about everything that Trump has done, it was a crappy job with little planning. I can’t imagine the next tyrant (Josh Hawley?) that is more educated and thinks things through more. It will be a disaster. But that time is not now, and won’t be for many years if ever.
