Trump is a useful idiot. Easily manipulated by politicians all over the world and in the USA. Enough time is passing for the Republican brain trust to get past Trump and forge a new path without him, but keeping much of the same white rage he was able to tap into. They will be less incendiary and more methodical in their approach but their end results will be the same, Fascism.
