This is why I stopped writing on a consistent basis about a year ago. I was getting hundreds and thousands of views on everything I wrote and then one day it dried up. For god's sake I can't even do a decent search on Medium for subjects I am interested in. There is no sorting. I am getting so much crap in my feed right now that I don't want. There isn't anyway to adjust it that I can tell. Where are the people I really want to follow? I have to go look for them. That sucks... The same thing happened on Facebook. 15 years ago, it was just me and my friends and a couple of groups. The only reason I stay on Facebook is for a couple of groups associated with hobbies and alumni, otherwise it's pretty useless to me as a way of connecting with people.
