This is the endless debate about will automation take our jobs. Did steam engines replace manual labor 150 years ago? Yes it did. Did robots take good paying jobs on the factory floors making cars and washing machines, they sure did. Is Dalle-2 killing off thousands of jobs right now because now anyone can generate a realistic photo or image for free. I just read that Google has written an AI that correct software code and even write new code. It only a matter of time, but you are right to one extent. Robots will come for the highest paying jobs. The capitalists might have something to say about that because what is happening is the hollowing out of the middle class as the very few become super rich and the vast majority of people are flipping burgers at McDonalds or mopping floors at Safeway. The crap jobs left behind because automation didn't kill them is all that is going to be left. It won't be a pretty sight.
