This is an archaic way of looking at the internet and many people view it that way. Elon Musk is offering a service called Twitter, just like SpaceX is a service to launch vehicles into space. Since he now owns Twitter pretty much, he can do whatever the f*ck he wants to do with it. Denying him the right to charge a fee is in itself a form of censorship.

Personally, I loath Elon Musk. He is a silver spoon brat that was given everything on silver platter and has never matured past the age of about 15 years old. Just like Trump. I cancelled my two Twitter accounts as soon as he acquired the company. Just like millions of others have. He will ride Twitter down into oblivion and will probably lose a massive amount of money to own the Libs. He can take Telsa too. Just keep SpaceX going... BTW, where's that Mars mission he kept promising us any day now? I guess he's more worried about a blue check mark instead...
