This drives me insane. I don't know how many times I saw something in my feed and refreshed my browser or something and lost it and the search sucks so bad, I couldn't find it again.

I used to write a lot more, but my earnings fell off a cliff last summer, so I stopped. It wasn't worth the effort anymore for a handful of dollars. Bring back the bonuses.

I think Ev is trying to squeeze as much money out of Medium as he can right now to the detriment of so much else. Medium is coming apart at the seams and so many people write crap it floods our feeds these days.
