The unfortunate truth of the matter is that many of the areas where Republicans are dying off in large numbers are also ones that are deeply red so even losing 5 or 10 or more percent of their population to Covid is unlikely to change the election in their districts. But it's eye opening to see how much of a death cult they have become.
