The reason we rush back to "normal" is that most Americans and the corporations that run things are a bunch capitalistic greedy pigs that can't see beyond their own noses. It's all about me, me, me! We are a bunch of snowflakes that can't seem to want to do the right things. Gun control, homelessness, vaccines, minimum wage, healthcare, global warming. Time and time again we pick the wrong path because of money. But you know what? Mother nature will have the last laugh as we burn our planet up and then what are we going to do?
