The reason that the Supreme Court has become the dumping ground for this crap is congress hasn't done their job over the past fifty years to codify anything related to controversial subjects like abortion and gun laws. So, now we have a bench of activist judges willing to take a wrecking ball to the constitution because of inaction on our politicians. Now here we are with a crisis on our hands and it's only going to get worse. I blame a lot of people. Republicans for weaponizing Fox news and the ability to seize control with a minority of voters. Spineless democrats thinking things will get better because they have the backing of the majority.
