The only two exciting candidates the democrats have presented in my lifetime are Bill Clinton and Obama. You could say on the other side that Trump was “exciting” but in an evil way. Harris will flame out early. Buttigieg and Beto are really the only ones on a national stage that are semi exciting. Either one would bring a lot more energy than Biden. But two things are going to happen on the republican side to give the democrats the election. Trump is a wounded animal. He can’t win against any decent democrat. Especially someone like Beto. But DeSantis and Pence are going to make sure he doesn’t win the nomination. Also Liz Cheney is starting her stealth run. She could be a third party spoiler. But it might not make a difference. Trump and his acolytes have put the people in place to monkey wrench the election so badly we’ll never know how wins.
