The game was played one way for 250 years and Trump came along and decided to play by different rules. Unfortunately those rules are a well worn path to fascism. People say that can’t happen here but as we’ve seen in plenty of other stable countries it can. I’m not saying we are going to Hitler level fascism and burning people in ovens but we could go to something like Hungary or Russia. But honestly I think there will be a huge revolt against Trump as buyers remorse sets in about a year or two after he gets elected
