The big takeaways from the election where that the Republican narrative of a red wave was barely a trickle. Historically, it should be huge. 1994 - 53 seats. 2010 - 64 seats. 2018 - 41 seats. So far the republicans have gained 3 seats. They might control the house with a 2-3 seat majority. Hardly a red wave or even a mandate to get anything done.
