That's my comment. My point here was that it will not be a walk in the park under Trump. It will be a continuation of his first term except more organized and cruel. They have already telegraphed what they are going to do which is outlined here in the Fake News media (as you like to call it) https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/17/us/politics/trump-plans-2025.html He wants to gut the federal government, start a war in Mexico, suppress the Press, jury rig the courts in his favor, etc etc... I think many of these wannabe dictators learned from Hitler not to go so far. Putin, Erdogan and Orban have shown the way. Keep a façade of democracy while you rape the country for you and your fellow politicians. That's why they push so hard because as we are seeing with Menendez and Santos and Trump there doesn't seem to be any repercussions to all the criminal activity.

Will we have a violent overthrow? no that won't happen. Will states seccede from the union? Nope. But what you will have is a systematic degradation of our everyday life until we are living like they do in China or Russia. Very few are very wealthy, while the rest live in a listless lower class life to support them with very little freedom and they've twisted the constitution to keep themselves in power indefinitely.
