Sorry this happened. Unfortunately these days I think we all need to have a politics discussion early in a relationship to make sure we are all in the same page.

I see this more and more from my privileged white male friends (of which I am one) of this absolute insane amount of energy they expend on politics. I have so many closeted Trump friends they can’t talk about in mixed company because their wives would rip their heads off but when we are drinking and playing poker with the guys, we’ve gotten into shouting matches about the dirge of immigration or homeless or whatever. I don’t know what it’s going to take for everyone to calm the fuck down.
