It the volume of people at the "insurrection" it was the clown coup that Trump was trying to pull off. It was never going to succeed. He never had the backing of the military or even local law enforcement. Now if there were a 100,000 people storming the capital like what just happend in Sri Lanka then you could call it a real insurrection (by the way I never called it that other than in quotes here). Worst case scenario would've been that a bunch of lightly armed LARPers would've held the Capitol building for a few hours and many of them would've died and we'd be in the same place we are now.
