Noel, thanks for keeping on this. Several things are going on here. The person writing under the name Jessica Wildfire cannot possibly be the one that is in the sports program at U of T. You are correct, nobody can hold a full time job, kids, house, husband and all that and crank out the volume of work she does. I know, I have a full time job and just writing a few articles is painful enough. I'm sorry, it's not possible. So, the most likely scenario is that writer for Medium knows the U of T person, thought her name is catchy (Wildfire!) and could fly under the radar using her persona as a cover. Ooopsy though, the writer has become wildly successful on Medium and now you have this problem where her cover is becoming a issue. Instead of coming clean, the writer has dug herself deeper and deeper. Lashing out at people that cross her.

The deep dark side of me also thinks, along with Umair and others, that a giant disinformation campaign is going on. It could be led by state actors or others with an agenda. Just like Fucker Carlson spins his doom porn every night to millions of people, these writers also exist in a world of doom. Unfortunately, it is very profitable right now to be dystopian. Medium would never do anything to dig into this because both of them make them so much money. You and I would be kicked off Medium before that ever happened.
