No, work is work. That's all it should be. It's an exchange of money for my time doing something needed by a company. Employees are not there to build a culture or have a social life. This is where we got off track decades ago in the relationship between company and employee. The great resignation has been a huge wake up call for everyone that we don't need to wrap our lives around the company we work for.
