My high school alumni Facebook group with several thousand members just disappeared a couple years ago. The admins and I tried like hell to get it back and Facebook never responded. I swore them off for a while but I have a side business that relies on Facebook to contact thousands of followers. So I use it still for hobbies and local news. I stay away from politics and other crap. Their feed is now flooded with AI generated junk that is drowning out any real discourse. Eventually it will collapse on itself.
