My BIL and Brother both are MAGA nuts. Thankfully they stayed on the east coast when I moved to Seattle many years ago. My sister and mother are very liberal. My brother won't talk to me anymore after being his big brother for 60 years. My wife's parents are a different story. My FIL is a lifelong republican but he says he won't vote for Trump so he isn't voting for anyone for president this year. When I visit we just don't talk politics. There is no amount of cajoling or convincing anymore. But the funny thing is they are ALWAYS the one to bring up those filthy communist liberals first and we just shut them up...
