Most Americans are one issue voters. Guns. Abortion. Healthcare. LGBT rights. Etc. we’ve outgrown the two party system and need to radically reform our constitution to reflect these changes to allow a parliamentary system. The electoral college winner take all system was badly designed. Gerrymandering and the senate over represent rural interests. But sadly this is so out of our reach as a nation I think both sides will take it down in a bloody civil before trying to change it. Third parties like this are doomed to fail until we make these changes.
