Mike makes a great point. It's the Democrats election to lose and they really have to try hard to lose it again to Trump. The GOP hasn't done any outreach to new voters in the past 3 or 4 elections and mainly relying on old white voters to come through for them but unfortunately for the GOP, the "base" keeps dying off and younger voters are not buying what the GOP is selling them. Sure there were problems with Comey and Russian interference and Fox News but Hillary was disliked immensely and ran a crappy campaign in the last few months
