I was listening to Michael Medved on the radio the other day. He’s one of the last sane Republicans that still has some clout on the airwaves. He is rare in Republican circles because never flipped to the dark side of Trumpism. Kind of like George Will a diehard old school Republican. I guess they call them Never Trumpers. They can’t stand “liberals” but hate Trump just as much. He is broadcasting from KTTH here in Seattle. I don’t listen to him much and he is a guest on some of the bigger morning shows on KIRO radio. I always like to hear what he says because he hasn’t bought into the bullshit that the crazy GOP is spouting these days.

In his guest appearance, he was discussing what is going on in the GOP these days and they were talking about Texas and how governor Abbott has almost no chance of winning the Governor's race in Texas next year. He might likely lose the GOP primary against someone that is trying to suck up to Trump even harder than Abbott. He’s also polling about the same as Beto O’Rourke and of all people Matthew McConaughey. It will be very interesting to say the least. I don’t think McConaughey will actually run for president, but I think just based on his past acting he would get so many people interested in voting, it would be fun to watch!
