Just like an alcoholic has to hit rock bottom before they reach out for help, most humans will not go out of their way to change things unless things get bad. Unfortunately for most Americans things haven’t gotten bad yet. But it’s like boiling a frog. Things will be really bad before they realize it and it will probably be too late.
