I've been programming since 1982 but paid after I got my computer science degree in 1988 and books were the only way to go for most of that time, but in the last five years or so, I rarely look at a book because it takes too long and most books don't cover the esoteric data stuff I do these days. I agree any Tom, Dick or Harry can put out a video on whatever they want. It's up to you to choose high quality stuff. Also, the only schools like Udemy and EDX. I don't know what you mean about "Zuck" since no videos are on Facebook for this type of stuff. It's Youtube or a private school that has videos. If you can find a book with the knowledge you need, whatever floats your boat... but I am saying that my children don't use them anymore.
