It’s a sad state of affairs and one that was clearly anticipated by Putin. He knew his cronies in the GOP would flop and that most of the EU would waffle. Putin will eventually grind down the Ukrainians if they don’t get more support. All this fear about him marching right through Poland and on to Germany and France are just delusional. Putin can barely get through Ukraine. Having said that it will be a war of attrition that Ukraine will lose without more support.
