I’m in a different position. My wife is similar to the first woman. String career woman. Takes charge of everything. Devout feminist. But that’s the problem. We play tug of war over who is in charge all the time. Sometimes it’s maddening. Who’s doing the finances? Who’s taking care of the kids? Who’s cooking dinner. But somehow we’ve been together for 28 years. Sometimes I fantasize about going back 30 years and finding a more submissive woman but I think those days are over.
