I’m gonna have to disagree with you here. Conservatism (which is in name only, call it Trumpism) is not a "counter culture", it is the culture in minority. Just like Black culture or Asian culture. They simply aren't the majority culture. They are a very opinionated culture that thinks that everyone needs to follow their lead because they are morally right in their opinions (or whatever bullshit excuse they make up). They are on the wane. It's clear they haven't won a popular vote for president in decades. Their numbers dwindle every day. But this is why they are so vocal because they can't stand what they see coming. They would rather burn it all down to the ground than be ruled by the libs (aka people of color and whites that side with them). But mark my words, their days are numbered because they are older and less educated and simply not reproducing at sufficient quantities to keep their movement going long term.
