I write a lot about the whole WFH phenomenon. You are right it is pure bullshit about the reasons most businesses want you to come back to an office. From power tripping managers to companies trying to force silent layoffs to banks worried about the collapse of the commercial real estate sector. But 99% of the time the excuse for collaboration and team togetherness is just a cover for something else.
