I used to look down at many SAHM mother and to be honest, many wealthy stay at home mother just use it as an escape to hide from the world. They outsource most of what you talk about from cleaning to cooking to taking care of the kids. I see it every day in my wealthy neighborhood. These women (not all) are the antithesis of what you are talking about.

But when at Housewife is doing it from a place of love and nurturing and authenticity, then it should absolutely be valued by society at large. Here in the USA most of the traditional housewife tasks have been devalued and stripped away from women. The cooking and healthcare and everything that they did traditionally has been monetized. Our capitalistic society only values people earning money and although the women's revolution was great for some women, it also turned many into corporate slaves. Now if a woman wants to have children or take care of elderly parents, she needs a job so she can be a cog in the wheel. Capitalism is inherently masculine stripping everything of value so we can make more money.
