I saw this morning that Trump is slightly backing off on his plan. He met with the King of Jordan and I am sure he got an earful.
1) Palestinians, and especially Hamas, aren't going anywhere if they don't want. Israel couldn't dislodge them, what makes Trump think he can
2) There is nobody that is going to take 2 million people and do what? Build squalid refugee camps?
3) We all hate Hamas but this is why they are a thing is this treatment. You want a bigger, stronger Hamas? You got it if you do this
4) Americans have no appetite for boots on the ground in Gaza. There is no way any other country, including Israel is going to go in there and dig Hamas out of those tunnels.
5) Lastly, let say Trump goes ahead with this plan, he won't be around in 4 years. Something this big will take many, many years. The next president will kill this plan on day 1. So, what is his point? There is none, he has the mind of a child and looked at Gaza and the pretty beaches and said, more Trump Towers!
