I really took a hard look at overemployment a couple years ago when my software engineering job was so slow and everything was remote. I found another job that paid better and was 100% remote but just as I was gearing up to do two jobs, job number 1 decided to go hybrid three days a week (after telling us they would never do that!) so I just went with one job. Luckily a side gig blog I was running blew up and started making money.

I’ve read the horror stories on r/overemployment and realized I could never do it if those jobs both were fairly busy. I’m not all that good at multitasking. Good luck!
