I hear this stuff and I think about the laws of supply and demand. If oil gets too expensive maybe vast numbers of people choose electric bikes or public transport. Or maybe people stop living in Las Vegas and move to Maine. Or cooper is so expensive we start mining asteroids. Who knows.
