I have many friends that are retired. I’m not quite there yet. What amazes me is the boredom most of them have. These are fairly wealthy individuals. They worked hard. Had no hobbies, except maybe golfing. Now they fill their time with mindless travel like they are running away from something.

I’m looking forward to retirement so I can relax and do my many hobbies and probably work part time. Sure I’ll travel but it won’t be to fill up my time because I ever cultivated any other interests in my life.
