I have a blog in the food space. I review products from a certain store. I’ve been at it for 15 years. It started as a hobby and it was that way for many years. A way to learn blogging and have a small side hobby. I made some decent money on ads. But then the whole TikTok and Reels thing blew into town and blew up food blogging. Now if you aren’t on TikTok and a blond female 30 year old influencer nobody is looking at your stuff. So it’s permeated almost every online industry from food to sex to parenting to whatever.
