I got involved in Crypto back when Bitcoin first made a splash. Back in those days you could mine Bitcoin on the slowest computers. I tried to install the software to mine it and never could get it to work or understand what was the point so I walked away.

Then in 2017 I took a second swipe at it. Quickly realized that Bitcoin was out of my reach. So was Ethereum. But I did mine quite a bit of Monero and several other coins and was able to cash in several thousand dollars before they went bust. Sold all my mining gear for a profit and got out because I realized it was mostly a pyramid scheme.

I think blockchain has a huge potential in our future, but it's not through making up a new currency. But between blockchains and ETF, not sure where all this is going!
