I don't know why people like Pence, Hutchinson and Haley run for president. Name exposure isn't something they need. They have no chance in hell of winning, unless they want to be vice president. I guess if you are a washed up politician like those three, you can keep the money coming in for another two years. There is always a dedicated group of people that will give almost anyone some money to run for president. The FEC give each candidate millions of dollars to run plus matches some contributor contributions. It's a way to live off the government dole for a couple of years.

The irony of the republicans is they want to spend government money on other rich people, not the masses. Less government only means shifting more money into their own pockets. They want to privatize everything to enrich their donors who are salivating at getting rid of social security, medicaid/medicare and public schools.
