I completely agree. I work for a very large company (hundreds of thousands of employees worldwide) and I’m in their IT department. I joined an unofficial Facebook group for the company and I’m shocked daily at how stupid these people are how they can stay employees. It’s a very large group lightly moderated. I can only imagine MAGA groups when the kids are part of the problem.

But in defense of Facebook (I know there’s not much to defend) I have several hobbies and run two groups myself. When moderators are on top of things they are a great way to share information. My alumni page for my small college is a great way for me to stay in touch. But political groups should be banned.
