I caught in the 2nd week of May 2022. My wife brought it home from work where a bunch of coworkers also all got it at the same time. They were in a meeting room together. Spreader event. We are all triple vaxxed. Our 18 year old got it in December and but none of the rest of us in the house got it, probably because we'd had our boosters just a couple of weeks before.

My wife had it for days walking around thinking it was just allergies. She never had more than a scratchy throat and minor nasal congestion but I woke up coughing one morning and tested and she tested too and it was positive. Mine was mostly a severe sore throat and some coughing but no fever. Done with symptoms in like five days and fully back to work a week from onset. No lingering effects that I can tell. (we are both around 60)

Suddenly, everyone one is catching it around here (Seattle, USA) starting in April and it shows no signs of letting up as it rips through everyone. But the statistics from the state show that deaths are barely budging while cases skyrocketed. Masks are mostly off and people are back to normal shopping and eating out. The only thing around here that stays is remote work, which I think is a good thing.
