I agree with everything you said. I just don’t think that Trump will sneak away quietly. It’s nothing he does. Even though he will lose mainstream right wing support not everyone will get the message. He knows he’ll have a shrunken base. Even if it’s 10% of what it was in 2020 it’s enough to wreck the chances of DeSantis winning if Trump runs his own third party campaign. There is still money to squeeze out of his loyal followers and he will keep squeezing all the way through 2024 he has no loyalty to the republicans
