I agree we need a new form democracy. Unfortunately most western countries are stuck in a form of democracy that was dreamed up over 200 years ago. We stopped making serious adjustments about 100 years ago as things ossified and we seemed to be stuck in a doom loop. We won’t be able to break the cycle until we blow it all up. Which won’t be pretty and we may never learn our lessons from before.
