I agree about online dating. There are some wins for sure, but mostly a lot of frustration and heartache and wasted time. The apps are meant to keep you engaged in them and not make a permanent match otherwise they would go out of business.

I once had a well known men's therapist tell me that you need to make a cake of your life, meaning do what you love to do and have a multilayered life in which you are fully engaged. Do not make a woman the center of your life. This goes for married men too. Because once you make a women the center of your life, you are asking for all kinds of problems.
