But about Turley. In a weird twist of fate at one time he was a personal friend of mine. His wife and mine were best friends. He was an ambitious GW law professor 30 years ago. He was at our wedding but we moved to the west coast a long time ago and lost touch. He was very liberal back then. He loved bill Clinton. He wanted to change the world. But somewhere along the way he was on TV more and more and seemed to crave the attention. I last saw him about ten years ago back in Virginia when we were back visiting friends. He was the most arrogant prick. When I saw him on tv essentially backing Trump I realized what an attention seeking hound he had become. Now he seemed to be backing away from the hard right rhetoric. I think this goes to show no matter how smart or pedigreed you are, you too can fall into the cult. So sad.
